When HG heard about this event at Circuit of the Americas our hearts jumped for joy. Driving Americas most amazing circuits is truly special but adding the factor of it being at night nearly tripled our excitement. Unfortunately, two of the drivers that were booked to join us had scheduling emergencies and were unable to join. Although it was a Texas summer, the weather did not not seem unmanageable. The visibility throughout the laps was amazing and the sensation of being in a race car alongside a few other prepped cars like the GT3 McLaren, 458 Challenge Ferrari and Huracan Super Trofeo could not be put into words. The linear power delivery of the GT3 Cup and the solid suspension allowed a smooth transition through corners and even with a few bumps on the track the width and flow was a perfect match for the Porsche.
